Ms. Tootsie’s Southern Fried Chicken
Ingredients:
•    4 cups of vegetable oil
•    2 teaspoons of granulated garlic
•    2 teaspoons of black pepper
•    2 teaspoons of Lawry’s Seasoning Salt
•    ¼ cup of hot sauce
•    3 cups of all purpose seasoned flour
•    8 pieces of chicken (3 wings, 2 thighs, 3 drumsticks)
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients (except vegetable oil and flour), and let marinate for ½ hour to 1 hour. Pre-set vegetable oil in large frying pan on medium heat until it reaches a temperature of 325 F. Completely coat marinated chicken parts in flour. Lightly shake off excess flour and place chicken in pre-heated frying pan skin side down. Cook thoroughly on both sides for 5-10 minutes on each side. When done remove prepared chicken from pan and place on a plate lined with paper towels to drain grease. Let sit 2 minutes, then serve.
