Joe's Chips

Recipe Provided By: Chef Elizabeth Fisher, author of "Dining with the Dollar Diva"

Ingredients:
1   package of flour tortillas
1   cup oil
Seasonings and herbs of your choice

Directions:
1. Place oil into a large skillet on medium high heat.
2. Stack as many tortillas as possible and cut in half 3 times, producing 8 chips per tortilla.
3. When oil is hot, carefully place chips in oil. May have to reduce heat to prevent burning.
4. Remove when chips rise up to top of oil. Keep an eye on them as they cook fast.
5. Place chips on a paper towel to drain the oil off, and season immediately.
