Analog antennas like these will soon go the way of the 8-track and the typewriter.

The years of the rabbit ears are coming to an end. Today, at noon, all television stations in the U.S. will shut off their analog services and transmit only digital signals. Those who don’t have a paid television service (like Comcast or Verizon) and have older analog TV's will need to attach a digital-to-analog converter box to keep their televisions working.

Convertor boxes are available at most electronic stores (think Best Buy) and some companies are offering complimentary in-home converter box installations. Below are the names and phone numbers of these companies:

    Apollo Industries – 800.504.5677
    Deployment Essentials – 866.550.4388
    Installs Incorporated – 800.582.4250
    The Idea Guy – 888.898.8729
    R&D Training & Tech Service – 866.202.4596
