Hundreds of runners will sprint through Bethlehem Saturday, April 4, 2009 for a good cause.
It's all to help organ transplant patients and their families.
It's called the "Strides for Shelter" 5K run and walk.
The event raises money for the "Transplant House" at the hospital of the university of Pennsylvania.
It's a home away from home for families of organ transplant patients.
Sharon Friedman remembers what it was like when her brother was a patient at penn.
She says the house offers a much needed refuge!
Strides for Shelter is held every year in memory of Sharon's brother James Bellizzi.
He received two lung transplants at penn.
Sharon will be among those running in tomorrow's event.
