'Tis the season for the Phillies Holiday Sale & Tree Lighting.
On Saturday, Dec. 13, and Sunday, Dec. 14, the Phillies will host their annual Holiday Sale at the Majestic Clubhouse Store at Citizens Bank Park. The two-day event will include free photos with the World Series trophy, as well as the popular Phillie Phanatic as Phanta Claus. Also featured will be a holiday tree and ballpark lighting ceremony (on Saturday only), complete with carolers, Phillies Ballgirls and a grand entrance by the Phillie Phanatic thanks to the local fire department.
Fans attending the event are asked to help the needy this holiday season by bringing canned food items to the Majestic Clubhouse Store for local food bank Philabundance.
Other attractions include a Phillies Charities memorabilia sale featuring game-used bats, jerseys and caps ... authenticated game-used collectibles ... exclusive World Series Champions merchandise ... and the just-released The Perfect Season: The 2008 Phillies Video Yearbook DVD.
Parking is free in Lot S, located off Pattison Avenue between Broad Street and Citizens Bank Way. (Must mention the Holiday Sale for free parking).
