Kenneth J. McManus was arrested in Fairfield, CT last Friday for stealing 175 packs of gum. Guess his breath really stuck. But even more bizarre? This wasn't the first time he'd been arrested for the same crime.
Back in January, a worker at a Shaw's Supermarket informed his manager, who in turn reported to authorities, that McManus had just stolen $525 worth of gum. The gum bandit fled the store.
During the investigation it was revealed that Kenneth McManus was taken into custody twice earlier in the month for the SAME THING!
Since his arrest last week, he's been released on $500 bail.
But the question remains...who in the hell needs that much gum?!
