Police Find Gunshot Victim Limping Near Hospital

Local college police stopped a man limping along an area street because it appeared he was shot.

The Temple University Police officers were right -- someone had shot the unidentified 23-year-old three times in the leg.

The officers rushed the man to the hospital after they found him walking along Tioga Street near N Broad Street in North Philadelphia overnight. That location is just mere feet from Temple University Hospital.

According to Philadelphia Police the man was in stable condition Wednesday morning.

Investigators searched the area for ballistics and clues in hopes of figuring out where the man was shot and who pulled the trigger.

The man told police he couldn’t remember where he was struck.
