Someone Wants Motorists to Stop Along Pennsylvania Road, Tampers With Stop Sign

Investigators in Pennsylvania searched for Berks County vandal who seemingly wanted drivers to stop.

Someone spray painted lines and the word “Stop” on the roadway near Route 100 and Kutztown Road in Herford Township, Berks County at some point between Monday and Friday, said Pennsylvania State Police.

The vandal also tampered with a stop sign in “an attempt to adjust traffic patterns on that roadway,” said a release from state police.

Police asked anyone with information to contact Trooper Marshall Hummel at the Reading barracks at 610-378-4011 or send a confidential tip to the Berks County tipline at 1-877-373-9913.
