Jillian Boone-Gonzales, 34, is accused of beating her teenage daughter inside a Berks County store.

A mother is accused of punching her daughter, grabbing the teenager’s hair and choking the girl with a purse strap before leaving the girl inside the Berks County convenience store where the caught on tape attack occurred.

Jillian Boone-Gonzales, 34, of North Plainfield, N.J. allegedly beat her 14-year-old daughter inside the Sheetz store on Kutztown Road in Fleetwood, Pa., according to the Berks County District Attorney’s Officer.

Witnesses told police that on July 29 around 6:15 p.m. that Boone-Gonzales chased her daughter into the store and began punching the girl. The attack continued as she kept punching the girl and pulled her hair, witnesses told police.

Surveillance video inside the store allegedly shows Boone-Gonzales also choking her daughter with a purse strap, prosecutors said.

Prosecutors say that Boone-Gonzales then jumped in a car -- allegedly driven by the victim’s grandmother -- and fled the scene, leaving her daughter beaten and bruised. The teenage daughter wound up in a nearby hospital for her injuries and was later released.

In August, Boone-Gonzales told police that she “lost control” and hit her daughter. She also admitted to a history of domestic violence towards her daughter, prosecutors said.

On Monday, Boone-Gonzales surrendered to county detectives to face charges including aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, endangering a child, harassment and related charges. She was out on $25,000 unsecured bail.

The biological father of the victim has custody of the girl, detectives tell NBC10.

The grandmother who allegedly drove the car won't be charged, authorities said.
