Couple Offers $500 Reward for Missing Therapy Pig Used at Pennsylvania Rehab Center

A Pennsylvania couple is offering a $500 reward for their missing pet pig, who also serves as a therapy animal at a rehabilitation facility for elderly people where one of its owners works.

That would be Katie Manni, who works at the Beaver Elder Care and Rehab Center in Hopewell Township. Manni directs the nurses there. The pig — a 7-month-old Vietnamese potbellied pig named Charlotte — sits under Manni's desk when the animal isn't cheering up the patients.

The pig was last seen July 11 when Manni's boyfriend brought some keys to her at work and noticed the pig was missing. The couple suspects someone might have seen the pig in the car while Manni's boyfriend was running errands and opened the car door out of curiosity. [[26343834, C]]
