Police in Ocean County, N.J. are hoping the person who created a metal cow from a 55-gallon drum will claim it.
The bovine was found Friday night in Wells Mills Park in Waretown with two notes hanging around its neck.
One note invited people to decorate the metal cow with a bell or hat. The other was addressed to President Barack Obama and said that the person who created the cow can't find a job and must resort to “stupid things like this” to keep from “going insane.”
Det. William Sneddon tells the Asbury Park Press the person is not facing any criminal charges. Sneddon says while police are not laughing about the person being out of work, officers like to see a little humor.
