Police in Lehigh County are investigating who stole thousands of dollars’ worth of live fish from the backyard of a Salisbury Township home.
Salisbury Township Police tell Patch.com that 17 multi-colored koi and goldfish went missing from a resident’s backyard pond between Feb. 11 and Feb. 14.
The fish, which range in color from white koi with black scales to goldfish and are all between 1- to 2-feet long and weighing between 15 to 20 pounds, are estimated to be worth about $3,170, according to Patch.
