A Saudi family must have rubbed their genie the wrong way.
Now they're moving out of their home of 15 years and suing the apparition for harassment, according to the BBC.
"We began to hear strange sounds," a family member told Saudi newspaper Al Watan. "At first we did not take it seriously, but then stranger things started to happen and the children got particularly scared when the genie started throwing stones."
It is unclear what the family did to draw their genie's ire. A family source told the Saudi paper a man's voice, then a female's told them to "get out of the house."
The invisible beings, also called jinns, are said to be vengeful and jealous. They can assume animal or human form.
A Saudi court said it will do its best to investigate the claim.
