Johnny Weir's Costumes Up for Sale

Proceeds from sale of Pa. native's figure-skating memorabilia will go to charity

Olympic outfits and skates from one of the most-colorful Olympic skaters are going up for auction.

A suburban Philadelphia company is auctioning off clothing from the closet of figure-skating star Johnny Weir to raise money for charity.

The Bucks County Courier Times reports that Horsham-based Linda's Stuff will sell items including costumes from “Skating with the Stars” and practice costumes from the 2006-2007 Olympic season where Weir finished fifth in Turin.

The store is also selling some of the Coastesville, Pa. native's skates.

Portions of the proceeds will go to The Trevor Project, an organization that provides crisis intervention for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender teens.

The auction begins Monday.
