Vick Gives $10K to Toys for Tots

With Philadelphia’s Toys for Tots operation struggling this Holiday season to collect donations, Eagles QB Michael Vick decided to lend a helping hand.

Vick donated $10,000 to the effort and appeared Friday at Fire Engine Company 16, according to Philly Sports Daily.

Sports Daily reports that Vick held a press conference outside the firehouse to help raise awareness for the effort before signing autographs.

“There’s no reason the kids shouldn’t wake up in the morning without something under the tree or without Santa coming to visit,” said Vick. “I’m just happy to be a part of it.”

Toys can be dropped off at any Philadelphia fire station. You can also drop them off at the Toys R Us Stores on Cottman Avenue, South Third Street, Aramingo Avenue and Franklin Mills Circle.
