Vick to Speak to Philly High School Grads

Eagles star quarterback Michael Vick will address graduates of an alternative high school program in Philadelphia.

The Eagles star will speak to about 450 grads of the Camelot schools, which serve at-risk youth.

Camelot CEO Todd Bock said on Monday that Vick's life story and his perseverance through adversity will resonate with students.

Vick joined the Eagles in 2009 after serving 18 months in prison for his role in a dogfighting ring. Since then, Vick has worked with The Humane Society of the United
States to speak against dogfighting to school and community groups.

He has also emerged as one of the most dangerous QBs in the NFL.

Bock would not disclose the date of the ceremony at the Kimmel Center because he wants to discourage protesters.
