The Birds Take Flight

Catch the 2009-2010 Philadelphia Eagles in a live, mic'd up practice before pre-season begins at the inaugural Eagles Flight Night on Sunday, August 2.

And even though this full-pads practice may not be the same as seeing a game, it sure beats sitting on your couch playing Madden and wishing you were watching the Birds in action.

The night, which replaces the Eagles Carnival, begins at 5 p.m. on the HeadHouse Plaza with a live band, WYSP broadcast, free games for kids and lots of giveaways including autographed jerseys off the backs of players like Brian Westbrook, DeSean Jackson and Asante Samuel. All proceeds from the night benefit Eagles Youth Partnership.

Flight Night will conclude with a full-fledged fireworks show after the practice (you can't get that from Xbox).

Tickets for the Eagles Flight Night are only $10 for children and $20 for adults.
