It all started last night in Las Vegas when Lonzo Ball ditched his signature Big Baller Brand sneakers for a sweet purple pair of Kobe Bryant Nikes.
What's the deal with that, Zo?
Ball put on a show wearing the Nikes, torching the Sixers for 36 points in a come-from-behind victory. He explained the change of footwear following the game.
"You know, Mamba mentality," Ball said. "Thought I'd switch it up. I wore them tonight. It's good when you can wear whatever you want."
Every basketball fan everywhere took notice including the King of Nike himself, LeBron James.
LBJ posted a quick video of Ball rocking the Nikes last night with the caption, "Just. Do. It."

That's where Ben Simmons popped up in the IG comments to share some of his thoughts.
And allow me to just say this: an *insane* number of people leave comments on LeBron's IG posts. I'm not kidding when I tell you it took me an hour of scrolling through them to track down Simmons' comments. I'm putting that hard-earned MBA to good use this morning.
First Simmons laughed with some emojis, then he dropped a famous Nike slogan.
Oh, and if this screen grab is to be believed, Simmons seems to like a comment pointing out the BBB kicks are trash.

Now, my final question: given that Simmons and LBJ are both Nike guys who just so happen to be in attendance last night posing for photos and watching Lonzo, is this all an orchestrated Nike stunt? I wouldn't bet against it. Perhaps the BBB is failing and you'll see Lonzo jump ship in the near future. Just do it, man.
