The Philadelphia 76ers have some pretty high expectations after years of stringing together some of the worst seasons the franchise has ever seen. The anticipation of a healthy Joel Embiid being joined by not one but two first overall draft selections in Ben Simmons and Markelle Fultz has plenty of Sixers fans with playoffs on the brain.
And you know what? Las Vegas oddsmakers today aren't saying it's out of the question.
Westgate Las Vegas dropped some NBA odds today and the Sixers have a couple of interesting props.
Will the Sixers make the 2017-2018 NBA Playoffs? -360 YES and +280 NO.
Granted, the East will be something of a trash heap this coming season, so simply making the playoffs isn't exactly a triumph for your average team. But a team coming off the types of seasons Sixers fans are used to? It's a small step in a larger process.

Making the playoffs is great and all but what about winning the Eastern Conference? The Sixers actually have the fifth best odds to accomplish that at 18/1.

The craziest number of them all may be the Sixers over/under win total being placed at 42.5. That would be more wins than they had in the last two seasons combined.
