Tobias Harris' future becomes murky after June 30 on 6 p.m., when free agency begins.
But the Sixers now know that at least one member of the Harris family will be playing for them in July.
Tobias' younger brother Terry will play on the Sixers' summer league team, a source confirmed Friday to NBC Sports Philadelphia. The Sixers' first game in Las Vegas will be on July 5.
Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium was first to report the news.
Terry worked out for the Sixers on June 3 and glowed when asked about the possibility of playing with Tobias.
"We haven't played together since we were in eighth grade, in high school," he said, "so if that could ever happen again, it would be a blessing."

Harris' standout skill is his outside shooting. The 6-foot-6 wing made 41.1 percent of his three-points shots as a senior at North Carolina A&T. Harris averaged 8.1 points and 2.8 rebounds, playing 20.6 minutes per night.
Other notable players who are expected to be on the Sixers' summer league team include Zhaire Smith and Shake Milton. Though first-round pick Matisse Thybulle said he had not yet discussed whether he'll compete in summer league, general manager Elton Brand said early Friday morning that he was looking forward to both Thybulle and second-round pick Marial Shayok playing in summer league.
Friday afternoon, the team also signed 7-foot-4 Florida State center Christ Koumadje for summer league, a team source confirmed. Mark Deeks of ShamSports.com first reported Koumadje's signing. Koumadje, who is taller than any player currently in the NBA, worked out for the Sixers on June 7 and impressed senior vice president of player personnel Marc Eversley with his defense and foot speed. Koumadje, if he plays in the NBA, would be the first player in the league from the country of Chad.
