St. Joe's Isaiah Miles, Baylor's Taurean Prince Among Next to Work Out for Sixers

The Sixers will continue their pre-draft workouts on Friday, bringing in another group of six prospects.

Those six are: Taurean Prince (Baylor), Fred VanVleet (Wichita State), Maodo Lo (Columbia), Isaiah Miles (St. Joe’s), Winston Shepard (San Diego State) and Jaron Blossomgame (Clemson).

Prince averaged 15.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists for Baylor as a senior. The small forward made headlines during the tournament for his answer to how his team was out-rebounded by Yale. 

Miles joins DeAndre' Bembry and Josh Hart as local college products working out for the Sixers. The power forward averaged 18.1 points, 8.1 rebounds and 0.9 assists as a senior.

VanVleet, a point guard from Wichita State, averaged 12.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 5.5 assists last season. He played all four years for the Shockers.

Lo, another point guard, averaged 16.9 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 dimes for the Columbia Lions in his senior season. He was raised in Berlin, Germany.

Shepard, a small forward, averaged 11.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists for the Aztecs as a senior. He attended Findlay Prep, which has produced several NBA players.

Blossomgame already met with the Sixers for an interview at the combine (see story). The small forward averaged 18.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists in his senior year for the Tigers.

In addition to the No. 1 pick, the Sixers also hold 24 and 26, and there always is the possibility of trading up or down in the draft.
