Sixers Somehow Have Better Championship Odds Than Celtics

If you think the Sixers haven't hit their full potential during the first two games of their series against the Celtics, it doesn't appear you're alone.

Because while the Sixers (+115) are down in the series 2-0 and the Celtics (-135) are now the favorites, according to Bovada, the Sixers' odds to win the whole thing are still better.

That's right, the Sixers' odds to win the NBA Finals this season are still shorter than the Celtics' odds.

Yeah, you read that right.

According to Bovada, the Sixers' odds to hoist the trophy are 12/1, while the Celtics, who are already two games up on them, have odds at 25/1.

That means the odds-setters think the Sixers have a much better shot of taking down LeBron and the Cavs in the Eastern Conference Finals than the Celtics. They think the Sixers' chances are so much better than the Celtics' they're still allowing for the fact that the Sixers would have to erase a 2-0 deficit in this series.

The Sixers' odds to win the Eastern Conference are 3/1, while the Celtics' are longer at 4/1. The Cavs are the favorites in the East at 10/13.
