Local Hero Mike Trout Finally Suits Up for a Philadelphia Team

Your wish has come true. Mike Trout is finally suiting up for a Philadelphia team.

Just not the one fans are hoping for from the Millville, N.J. native.

Trout, the Los Angeles Angels superstar and major Philadelphia sports supporter, took to Twitter on Wednesday night to show off his new threads. Trout posted a photo of him sporting a full Ben Simmons Sixers uniform - even the left arm sleeve - and dropped a "Trust the Process" hashtag just to be clear.

Trout's Sixers gear was part of a theme for the Angels' trip to Seattle for a four-game series against the Mariners. All of the players sported their favorite basketball attire.

While Trout being from South Jersey lends itself to the natural Philadelphia connection, he wasn't the only player showing love to the Sixers. Fellow slugger Albert Pujols and former Phillie JC Ramirez each went with full Allen Iverson uniforms for the trip.
