Jahlil Okafor Joins Sixers in Boston After Two-game Absence

BOSTON -- Jahlil Okafor is back with the Sixers -- for now.

Okafor joined the Sixers in Boston on Tuesday, the day before they play the Celtics at TD Garden, per team spokesperson Michael Preston.

Okafor has not played in the last two games amid trade talks. He watched Saturday's home game from the bench and did not travel with the Sixers to Monday's game in Charlotte.

"Jahlil Okafor's situation is transparent," Brett Brown said Monday. "He's in the middle of being discussed in trade scenarios. So I felt that it complicates things to play him the last game, and now clearly this is continuing on. That's the reason he isn't here."

Wednesday is the Sixers' final game before the trade deadline on Feb. 23.

The Metro first reported Okafor was spotted at Logan Airport.
