The Sixers are resting Ben Simmons for tonight's summer league game against the D-league Select Team.
Simmons in three games in the Las Vegas Summer League is averaging 11.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and 5.3 assists. He has shot 44.8 percent (13 for 29) from the field.
The Sixers, who went 1-2 in the Utah Summer League, have lost all three games in Vegas and enter tournament play as the 22nd seed. If they win, they face the 6th-seeded Nets on Thursday.
This is the second summer league game Simmons will miss; he also sat out the second game in Utah after leaving the opener with cramps in both calves.
