Ben Simmons Expected to Play Tonight Vs. Jazz

Ben Simmons is expected to return to summer league action for the Sixers tonight against the Jazz. The Sixers had no media availability Wednesday, but Simmons' tweet indicates he'll come back from the calf cramps that cut short his summer league debut on Monday and kept him out of the Sixers' second game in Utah Tuesday.

Sixers assistant coach Billy Lange, who is in charge of the summer league squad in Utah, said Tuesday that he expected Simmons to be back tonight.

Simmons finished with 10 points, eight rebounds and five assists in 24 minutes Monday night, shooting 2 of 9 from the floor.

Simmons and fellow first-round pick Timothe Luwawu-Cabarot, who also sat Tuesday, are featured in the promo on the Sixers' official site for tonight's game, which can be seen at 9 p.m. on The Comcast Network and streamed live on CSNPhilly.com.
