Sixers Looking for Some “Magic” Next Season

The Philadelphia 76ers announced their 2009-10 schedule on Tuesday.

The 76ers will open the season in Orlando, Fla. on October 28 when they will get their chance at revenge against the Magic -- the team that eliminated the Sixers from the 2009 playoffs.

The Sixers’ will hope for treats not tricks when they host the Milwaukee Bucks for the home opener on October 30.

The Sixers schedule is full of treats for the fans. 

Fans will get their first chance to see the Sixers battle Montgomery County-native Kobe Bryant and the defending champion Lakers when they come to town on for a Friday night showdown on January 29.

The newly formed superstar duo of LeBron James and Shaquille O'Neal bring their the Cleveland Cavaliers to to the Wachovia Center on December 16 and March 12.

Interestingly enough, the Sixers close the regular season just how they open it -- in Orlando against the Magic, where they hope to lift the spell the Magic vexed them with last season.

The complete Sixers television and radio broadcast schedules were still unannounced.
