Ireland's O'Donovan Brothers Own the Interview Podium

"I suppose we did a bit of celebrating and did the podium thing and got to put on the podium pants as well," Paul O'Donovan said

As if winning a historic first rowing medal for Ireland wasn't enough already, brothers Paul and Gary O'Donovan have won our hearts for an increasingly endearing set of interviews with Irish broadcaster RTE.

In the first video, the brothers share their fears of returning home to Skibberdeen, despite their history-making silver medal: Irish boxer Mick Conlan "said he'd box our heads off if we don't win the gold."

In the second video, the brothers are interviewed the day after their race; the inteview covers, pizza, "podium pants," urine testing, and just about everything in between.

"I suppose we did a bit of celebrating and did the podium thing and got to put on the podium pants as well," Paul O'Donovan told the interviewer.

"And then I had to do this doping control thing," he added. "I was there for an hour or two trying to take a pee then into a cup for them."

The O'Donovans and their interviews have created a huge buzz on social media.

The O'Donovans silver medal was the first medal for Ireland at the Rio Olympics.
