Running back Ronnie Brown is the latest former Pro Bowler nesting in Philly this season.
The Eagles signed the former Dolphins 1,000-yard rusher to a one-year deal Tuesday.
The deal is worth $1 million plus some incentives, reports Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio.
Brown, 29, averaged 4.3 yards per carry while rushing for 4,815 yards and 36 TDs in six seasons in Miami. He also added 184 catches for 1,491 yards and two receiving TDs. He also was a pivotal cog in Miami's "Wildcat" offense passing for two TDs.
A Georgia native, Brown was the second overall pick in the 2005 NFL draft. He joins CB Nnamdi Asomugha, DE Jason Babin, DT Cullen Jenkins and QB Vince Young as former Pro Bowlers to sign with the Eagles since the lockout was lifted.
The 6-foot, 230-pounder will likely backup LeSean McCoy and serve as a third-down back.
"Ronnie is an all-around running back with a versatile skill set," said Eagles general manager Howie Roseman. "He can run the ball, catch it, and does very well in pass protection. He’ll add some good size to our backfield and he’s a good character guy."

Tackle Ryan Harris and safety Jarrad Page are also joining the Birds on one-year deals. Harris, a 6-foot-5, 300-pounder, played 46 games for the Broncos after Denver drafted him in 2007. The 26-year-old started 10 games for Denver last season. Page, 26, has 210 tackles, 12 interceptions, four forced fumbles and a sack in 63 career games (40 starts) for Kansas City and New England.
