Rodman Grabs Lady's Crotch After Going Pretty in Pink

Miami Beach police are investigating a battery complaint against Dennis Rodman

Dennis Rodman has gone from playing basketball to playing dress up. He might soon be in Miami Beach lock up.

Miami Beach police are investigating a claim by a woman that the former NBA All-Star grabbed her crotch in the middle of a crowded bar at Club LIV on South Beach on Wednesday night. Rodman has denied the claims.

Rodman is no stranger to the law on South Beach, but usually it involves him skipping out on a bar tab.

The accusations capped a busy evening for the original Bad Boy.

Dressed all in pink gear and sparkles Rodman attended the Pink Dress Collection, a fashionable charity event that made its debut in three cities: New York City, Miami Beach and Los Angeles.

Rodman hung out at the Eden Roc Hotel on Miami Beach for the Pink fashion show and auction Wednesday night for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Later that evening Rodman partied next door at LIV Nightclub inside the Fontainebleau Hotel on Miami Beach along with his bodyguard, his assistant and his girlfriend.

While the party was going strong, Miami Beach police responded to LIV just before 3 a.m. Thursday to check out a reported sexual battery.

Officers arrived and found Jessica Doreen Cox crying in the security office, the police report said.

Cox was on her cell phone recounting her ordeal to her mother, on how running into a celebrity had not been such a great thing.

The woman went to security and said she was "upset, embarrassed and angry." The report said there were no witnesses to the incident.

Cox and her friends were getting drinks at the bar when she “perked up” at the sight of Rodman. He whispered something into her ear and that is when Cox claims Rodman placed his hands between her legs and grabbed her crotch.

Rodman denies that he touched Cox inappropriately and told police to pull the surveillance video from the club. Miami Beach police officers are reviewing clips that show Cox and Rodman cozy at the bar.

No charges have been filed against Rodman at this time.
