Sam Ojserkis stands just at 5-foot, 8 inches but plays a huge role as coxswain for the Men's Eight Rowing team. Despite his size, Ojserkis was convinced to start rowing by his two parents during his freshman year at Mainland Regional High School. Recently, the Linwood, New Jersey native won a bronze medal in the 2015 Pan American Games and helped the Men's Eight boat come in first at the Olypmic Qualification Regatta.
