With reports swirling that Sixers' ownership is closing in on a decision on Bryan Colangelo's fate, an interesting report has surfaced.
Colangelo, the team's president of basketball operations, was present at a pre-draft workout for Duke's Grayson Allen at the team's facility Wednesday, according to the Inquirer's Keith Pompey.
The easy conclusion would be that Colangelo has survived the "Collargate" investigation and will keep his job. However, since he was never placed on a type of leave, it's possible the team has told him to go about his job as usual.
It is worth noting that Colangelo wasn't present during agent-run pre-draft workouts last week after the Ringer story broke. He was in attendance at other workouts on Tuesday before the report was published later that evening.
