Plaxico Wants to Play for the Eagles: Eskin

Plaxico Burress, who will soon be a free agent, wants to play for the Eagles, according to Howard Eskin.

New York Jets Wide receiver Plaxico Burress wants to come to the Eagles, according to NBC10's Howard Eskin.

Eskin tweeted the following

Saw and talked to Plaxico Burress at Super Bowl and told me he wants to play for Eagles. Badly!

After completing a one-year deal with the Jets, Burress will be a free agent on March 13.

According to Eskin, Andy Reid thought about bringing Burress to the Birds last year after having several conversations with him.

“I do believe the Eagles will take a hard look at signing Plaxico Burress,” said Eskin.

Burress scored eight touchdowns and had 45 receptions for 612 yards last season with New York.
