Watch: How About the Phillies' Sick Defense in the 8th?

Is it us or are Phillies fans starting to expect the Fightins' to win close games these days?

They played another tight one is St. Louis last night and ended up blowing a ninth inning lead, which stinks, but it was pretty darn entertaining up until that point. And let's not even get into the awful umpiring last night. Third base coaches just setting picks now?

How about the Phils flashing the defense in the eighth though?

What a save.

"It was going over," Goeddel told reporters after the game. "I didn't realize it would have been a home run until I caught it."

You never want to see your closer blow a game, but it's certainly a nice/strange feeling to expect your team to win again.
