Rhys Hoskins gave the Phillies all the offense they needed in the first inning, blasting a two-run homer to center field off Tanner Roark.
The Phillies will have a chance to win the series against Washington Sunday afternoon in a marquee matchup, with Jake Arrieta taking on Max Scherzer.
