Tonight's Lineup: Only Change Comes Behind the Plate

The Phillies were scheduled to face Jhoulys Chacin tonight, but the Braves traded him to the Angels on Wednesday afternoon and so instead they'll face right-handed sinkerballer Williams Perez.

Cameron Rupp is back behind the plate to catch Jerad Eickhoff and bat fifth. The Phillies have scored just 11 runs for Eickhoff in his six starts, a trend they'd like to change to get him his second win of the year tonight. Eickhoff has a 3.30 ERA and 1.09 WHIP in 14 MLB starts, but is just 4-7 because of poor run support (see game notes).

Tyler Goeddel remains in the lineup against the right-hander. He started against a righty on Tuesday as well. He plays left field and bats seventh.

Cesar Hernandez remains in the two-hole, while Freddy Galvis bats sixth. Hernandez has driven in a run in each of the last three games he's played, going 5 for 13 with a triple over that span. Galvis is in a cold spell, going 5 for 26 (all singles) over his last seven games.
