Tonight's Lineup: Nick Williams Moves Down in Series Opener Vs. Braves

Pete Mackanin has moved Nick Williams down three spots in Tuesday's series-opening lineup against the Braves.

Williams, who batted cleanup Saturday and Sunday at Coors Field, bats seventh after going 0 for 8 with three K's.

Daniel Nava gets another start in the three-hole against Atlanta right-hander Julio Teheran. For Nava, it's a mixture of his overall productivity this season (.311/.404/.445) and perhaps a bit of a showcase for other teams. Nava is an August trade candidate, albeit one who won't bring back much of anything in return. But the organization's thinking could be to put him in as many run-producing spots as possible over these next few days.

Cameron Rupp is behind the plate to catch Zach Eflin. Rupp has hit .345 over his last 17 starts with five doubles, five homers, 11 RBIs and 12 runs (see game notes).

1. Cesar Hernandez, 2B
2. Freddy Galvis, SS (10 for 24, double, triple, 3 walks vs. Teheran)
3. Daniel Nava, LF
4. Maikel Franco, 3B
5. Odubel Herrera, CF
6. Tommy Joseph, 1B
7. Nick Williams, RF
8. Cameron Rupp, C

And for the Braves:

5. Kurt Suzuki, C
6. Matt Adams, LF
