Tonight's Lineup: Nick Williams, Daniel Nava Sit Vs. Padres Lefty

Nick Williams is out of the Phillies' lineup for a second consecutive night as they take on Padres left-hander Clayton Richard.

Williams is 6 for 23 (.261) seven games into his big-league career with a double, a walk and six strikeouts. Last night was a planned game off for him, and he sits tonight as the Phillies try to load up the righties against the incredibly hittable Richard (see game notes).

Cameron Perkins leads off and plays left field. It's his first start since June 27. Perkins is 5 for 30 with 10 strikeouts in 12 games.

Daniel Nava sits after an 0-for-4 night. The switch-hitting Nava has hit .363 with a .960 OPS against right-handed pitchers but just .171 with a .495 OPS vs. lefties.
