Tonight's Lineup: Howard in, Joseph Out; Herrera Back in CF, Bats 6th

A night after erupting for a season-high 13 runs (see game story), Pete Mackanin elected to make some changes to his lineup as the Phillies take on Giants' ace Johnny Cueto on Wednesday night (7:05/CSN).

Cesar Hernandez, Aaron Altherr and Maikel Franco, who combined to go 11 for 14 with nine RBIs last night, remain 1-2-3 at the top of the order (see game notes)

Ryan Howard, who is batting .168 on the year, gets the start at first base in place of Tommy Joseph and bats fourth.  

After getting the night off last night, Odubel Herrera is back in centerfield while Altherr slides over to right. Herrera, who has just two hits in his last 13 at-bats, bats sixth. 

Phil Klein, who was recently recalled from Lehigh Valley, gets the spot start in place of Aaron Nola who was placed on the 15-day DL with a strained right elbow (see story)
