Well, apparently Phanatic cleats make the most awesome gifts these days.
On Opening Day, Bryce Harper wore the most incredible green Phillie Phanatic cleats in his first game as a member of the Phils.
Then, at the Phanatic's birthday celebration on Sunday, Harper gave the gift of Phanatic cleats to the big guy. He was overjoyed.
This is everything.

While it might be hard to understand the thrill of getting Phanatic cleats as a gift, one lucky youngster, Nicholas of New Jersey, got exactly that for Easter from his parents.
After seeing Harper rock the cool green kicks in the opener, Nicholas asked for a pair, and his mom did everything to make that wish come true.
"He's playing his first year of tee-ball and a huge sports fan," Sarah, Nicholas' mom told NBC Sports Philadelphia. "He saw images of his favorite player, Bryce Harper wearing those cleats and asked if he could have a pair. I searched everywhere and quickly realized that they aren't sold in stores, so myself and a family member bought a regular pair of cleats, stripped all the paint off, purchased leather shoe paint and the rest is history!"
Here's a look of a one very happy five-year-old.
It's stories like this that warm your heart and help you understand how the game of baseball goes well beyond the diamond and into the homes and hearts of fans of all ages.
Shout-out to Nicholas and best of luck in your first year playing baseball and to Sarah, who proved that she's not a regular mom, she's a cool mom.
