Scott Kingery, Rhys Hoskins to Represent Phillies at Futures Game

Rhys Hoskins and Scott Kingery, who might be the Phillies' first baseman and second baseman in 2018, will represent the organization at the Futures Game on Sunday, July 9 in Miami.

Both players are having standout seasons. Kingery is hitting .313 with 20 homers and 20 steals and is already producing after his recent call-up to Triple A. Hoskins is hitting .304 with a 1.002 OPS, 18 homers and 62 RBIs. (More on the rolls Kingery and Hoskins are on in this week's Future Phillies Report.)

The Futures Game, entering its 19th year, pits U.S.-born top prospects against the World Team, which this year represents 12 countries and territories outside the United States. The U.S. owns an 11-7 series lead.

The Phillies' representatives last summer were Dylan Cozens and Ricardo Pinto. In 2015, they sent Aaron Nola and J.P. Crawford.
