It looks like the Big Piece will be getting a little family addition soon.
Ryan Howard came out of retirement briefly on Saturday to take a swing at a baseball for the gender reveal of his newest child. Our old friend took up his beloved stance to swing at a pitch sent toward him by his wife, Krystle.
The slugger connected once again, as we've seen so many times before, but this time, that ball wasn't flying out of Citizens Bank Park. This time, the ball was sent into the air and exploded pink, to symbolize Howard's incoming baby girl.
Check out the video below, which Howard shared on his Instagram page. The family's reaction is priceless. It looks like they're pretty excited about a future slugger.
Congrats to the entire Howard family on their newest addition. We can't wait to see her rocking some pinstripes soon.
