You could say the force has awoken with the 2016 Phillies, but it's their minor league counterparts who are putting on a special Star Wars night on June 4.
The Reading Fightin Phils will be rocking these special jerseys featuring the giant hairy mug of Chewbacca on the front.
"Our game will also feature various Star Wars characters as well as Mega Blast 9, the largest fireworks show in stadium history, set to music from the Star Wars films," Fightin Phils PR-man Eric Scarcella tells us. "The jerseys will then be auctioned off that night to benefit the United Way of Berks County."
I must say, a fireworks display so awesome that it gets its own name, and that name is MEGA BLAST 9??? That sounds out of this world.
