The Phillies are feeling good right now after completing a dramatic four-game sweep of the Mets on Thursday at Citizens Bank Park.
The last time the club swept New York in a four-game set was 2007. You probably remember the game and that season.
Remember the #Phillies' last 4-game sweep of the #Mets?
Chase Utley walk-off, 2007, the year #Mets collapsed and #Phillies erased 7-game deficit with 17 games to play to win NL East. https://t.co/kUw4T3gLTB— Jordan Hall (@JHallNBCS) June 27, 2019
This season's sweep is fueling a sudden bamboo fever. It all started in the Phillies' clubhouse and now it's spreading into team stores at CBP.
Courtesy of pictures from NBC Sports Philadelphia's Andrew Greth, the Phillies are offering fans bamboo and a variety of bamboo products for sale at the ballpark.
