As expected, the Phillies activated right-handed pitcher Andrew Bailey off the 15-day disabled list on Friday afternoon.
Bailey, 32, will take the vacant spot created when the team optioned Adam Morgan to Triple A on Thursday night after Morgan was hit hard by the Rockies in a 11-2 loss in Colorado.
Bailey had been on the DL since June 22 with a left hamstring strain. He injured his hamstring covering first base against the Twins.
On the year, Bailey has appeared in 25 games and has a 4.39 ERA in 26 2/3 innings.
The Phillies continue their four-game series against the Rockies on the road Friday night before the All-Star break.
