Phillies-Orioles Game Postponed Because of Rain

After a delay of three-plus hours, the Phillies-Orioles game in Baltimore Tuesday night was postponed because of heavy rain.

Both teams will make up the rainout on Thursday, July 12. A game time will be announced at a later date. Tickets for tonight's game will be honored for July 12.

Because of a not-so-promising forecast, the Orioles moved up Wednesday afternoon's game from 12:35 p.m. to 12:05 p.m.

Phillies right-hander Nick Pivetta (2-2, 4.15) will oppose Orioles right-hander Andrew Cashner (1-4, 4.84).

The game will be broadcast on NBC Sports Philadelphia with Pregame Live starting at 11:30 a.m.

Following the game, the Phillies will head to St. Louis to open a four-game series with the Cardinals starting Thursday night.
