2008 Phillies Legends Reunite to Celebrate Chase Utley's 40th Birthday

The 2008 Phillies were the first team many people ever saw actually win anything in Philadelphia. And for that reason they are an incredibly beloved bunch.

Nobody more so than Chase Utley.

Utley hung up his cleats at the end of the 2018 season to spend more time with his family. But with the special occasion of The Man turning 40 years old, a bunch of the old band mates got back together.

They even made special shirts for the now old Man too.

Former Phillies first baseman Ryan Howard shared some photos from over the weekend to his social media accounts. Cole Hamels and Pat Burrell were among the many people celebrating Chase turning 40.

The group also wore t-shirts with a sleeveless Utley pictured with the text, "Old guys rule."

Chase's wife Jen also shared some photos that include a golf cart decked out with a literal silver fox on it that's wearing a hat that says "full time dad."

Philly fans will get a chance to see their 2008 favorites again next summer when the Phillies honor Utley, Jimmy Rollins, and Howard at Citizens Bank Park in separate ceremonies.
