Phillies to Hold Rally Before Game 1

Phillies host St. Louis Cardinals in NLDS this afternoon

The Philadelphia Phillies are holding a postseason rally prior to this afternoon's Game 1 of the National League Division Series against the St. Louis Cardinals.

The rally will begin at 3:30 p.m. outside Citizens Bank Park at the giant stage near the intersection of Citizens Bank Park and Pattison Avenue. The event is free of charge and no ticket is required. Phillies alums Dave Cash, Dallas Green, Tommy Greene, Greg Luzinski, and Hall of Famer Pat Gillick will be among those participating in the event.

The rally will be preceeded by the Phillies Postseason Block Party, which will be held prior to every postseason home game and begins at 2:00 p.m.

The first pitch of Game 1 is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Roy Halladay pitches for the Phillies, while Kyle Lohse gets the ball for St. Louis.
