Phillies Single-Game Tickets Go on Sale

One of the biggest days of the Phillies season happens for some fans before spring training even begins.

Phillies single game tickets go on sale at 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning. Tickets are expected to sell quickly considering that the Phillies have sold out every game at Citizens Bank Park for the past few seasons.

Some fans camped out overnight at CBP to get the first tickets from the Phillies box office without having to pay those pesky service fees.

But, for those of us willing to fork over some extra dough for the convenience of online ticketing, tickets will go on sale on Phillies.com at 8:30 a.m. as well.

Tickets are limited to eight tickets per person per game.

“In just seven weeks the Phillies will be returning to Citizens Bank Park,” said John Weber, Phillies Vice President, Sales & Ticket Operations. “We look forward to welcoming back our fans for what is sure to be another exciting season.”

Opening day tickets and tickets for the Red Sox game won't go on sale Thursday but most other games will.

All the games will likely sell out but a few of the games certain to sell out quickly include Charlie Manuel Baseball giveaway day against the Mets (April 14), the Roy Halladay Fathead Jr. giveaway against the Giants (July 22) and the August series against the defending National League champion Cardinals.

And for fans down at the ballpark Thursday, there will be a preview of some of the promotions for the coming season as well as a 15-percent off discounted items sale at the Majestic Clubhouse Store starting at 7 a.m.
