14 runs.

The Phillies scored a season-high 14 runs on a season-high 18 hits as they beat the Marlins 14-2 Tuesday night.

The hit parade began in the third, as the Phightins put up a five spot thanks to a two-out, two-run, bases loaded single by Raul Ibanez, an RBI single by Domonic Brown and a two-run single by Wilson Valdez.

That was all that Cole Hamels (10-4) would need. The lefty showed no ill signs of a right hand injury that forced him to leave his last start. He would allow two runs while spraying eight hits and one walk while striking out five Marlins.

Hamels got some pad later in the game thanks to Ryan Howard. The Phillies slugger took the National League RBI lead by knocking in four including a two-run homer in the fourth as he finished a triple short of the cycle.

Michael Martinez -- who filled in for injured Shane Victorino -- got his triple. He cleared the bases with a ninth inning with a three-bagger.

Ibanez capped the scoring with a two-run homer in the ninth.

Every Phillies position starter had a hit including four hits from Howard and Jimmy Rollins.

Chris Volstad (4-8) took the loss for the Marlins as his ERA skyrocketed to 5.46.

The Phillies turn to Kyle Kendrick (4-4, 3.81 ERA) to finish the sweep Wednesday night. Righty Anibal Sanchez (6-2, 3.30) takes the hill for the Fish.
